The map of a country, Syria, boils down to friends and to roads traveled doing location scouting. Girlfriends confess before the camera, clear the mist before my eyes. The sea: a forgotten childhood, my mystery, the sacred tomb of poetry. Ammar captures Youssef on camera and returns laden with his paintings from his gentle exile. A film like a puzzle in black and white, made up of journeys and returns, of prison and exile, the past ant the present, love and death. A film that speaks of the importance of poetry.
